We believe sustainable development requires investing in human capital and providing girls and women with opportunities to improve their welfare, professionalism, and wellbeing. Socio-cultural norms limit women's access to capacity building and other opportunities, keeping communities underdeveloped and impoverished. Preventable causes like malaria, HIV/AIDS, and inadequate maternal care result in needless deaths of children and women. These issues can be addressed through education, evidence-based advocacy, and effective monitoring of government policies and programmes. Encouraging women to take active roles in decision-making ensures their voices are heard and respected.
